THE IDEA

A home cockpit technology has developed very much during recent years.
Now you can order material for a home cockpit project. New products comes
nearly every month. New innovations makes this hobby growing and you can
buy a complete home cockpit, glass cockpit one or an analog gauge type.
Most "hardcore" builders set their standards very high. They want their
cockpit very realistic looking. Many hardware dealers sell electronics
to wire up your project.  If the money isn't the problem, you can actually
buy a jet cockpit replica 20,000,00 - 30,000,00 euros and If necessary
7,000,00 - 10,000,00 with motion platform system. Pretty cheap if you compare
 to the real one.

My idea is to make a captain side of the Airbus 320 type cocpit.
First I will make panels of front side main panels and glare panels.
I have ordered panels from Canadian company Flightdeck solutions.
Here in my site you will see how I build those panels. There are of
course different methods to do it but this is my approach. You can always
write to builders forums to ask some advice.
Once those panels are ready with buttons, leds and switches I'll start to
plan the main construction. After this I'll power up my sim with famous
Opencockpit IOcards. I have already ordered those cards from Spain where
they make them. I will use Project Magenta's software to run the Airbus
cocpit with these cards.  I haven't counted the money I've already spent
to this project but later I try to collect that information.

Hopefully one day I own Airbus captain side cockpit with fully working
Glass cockpit, glare section, pedestrial section and overhead section.

WHY AIRBUS ?

Simple and short : I always liked the glass cockpit and it has some easy solutions
compared to boeing or MD.  I can use regular joystick and also the throttle section
is more easy to build.
took the finnish national airline company Finnair and its most common jet, A320.
I also prefer short hauls like domestic or flights inside Europe.
My home airport is Helsinki-Vantaa international EFHK.
